The WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU concerns the proper disposal of used electronics. The objectives of this Directive are: to preserve, protect and improve the quality of the environment, to protect human health, and to utilise natural resources prudently and rationally. The updated Directive (2012/19/EU) contains several new obligations imposed on producers of electrical and electronic equipment.
